You’re not “reading” books when you’re listening to them

I’ve met people who say they “read” 20+ books a week and I’m like wow how do you find the time?! And they’re like oh Audible or something. Come on now. You didn’t read War and Peace. You let it play in the background while you cleaned your house and played video games. That’s not reading that’s hearing

Edit: I am unpopular today 🫣 Guys all I’m saying is listening and reading are two different things, you didn’t READ THE BOOK. You did not read Finnegans Wake; you listened to someone else read it and then told everyone what a great book it was and that it was a hard read!!
