Startup Dilemma: Product Management or AI/ML Specialization

I’m currently working at a startup and have been given the opportunity to try a Product Manager role for a couple months. This is a chance for me to gain experience in a different area, but I’ve also been considering spending time to dive deeper into machine learning and AI, potentially developing a niche there instead of continuing as a full-stack developer.

What factors should I consider to make this decision? Has anyone here faced a similar choice? I’d appreciate any advice or experiences you can share.
