Show HN: Digital Solitude – A website that only works for one person at a time
Hi HN! I built a small experiment in digital solitude: a website that intentionally fails when more than one person tries to visit it.
The concept is simple – if you’re alone, you see the site. If someone else arrives, it breaks for everyone until only one person remains. No queuing, no waiting lists, just shared failure.
An experiment in anti-scalability: genuine digital scarcity without tokens, chains, or ownership records. The server’s capacity of one creates exclusivity through architecture rather than artificial economics.
