How will AI swarms coordinate?

AI agent swarms are coming, but how will they coordinate? For now I can have main agent calling other agents as tools (think n8n), but say I want to deploy 10 AI coders? How will they communicate?

Will there be an AI senior dev making sure each piece of code falls into its place?

Or will there be a human in a loop coordinating all of them through some sort of dashboard?

To be clear I am not talking about Lindy deploying 100 instances of the same agents in parallel. I am talking about advanced agents that work on big tasks that require planning and cooperation.
