Best Neighborhood for AI and Entrepreneurship?

I’m moving to the Bay to explore opportunities in AI.

In terms of meeting people and being around the most entrepreneurial energy and knowledge flow, what is better; living somewhere in SF proper, or the South Bay/Peninsula?
