Am i overreacting?? 🍃💨

I just got yelled at for smoking a joint during my 8am walk this morning. For the record, I’m in Canada, weed is legal here and I was just walking along a public road with my dog. As I passed a woman loading her car across the street, I took a drag off my joint. She suddenly yelled, “You can’t smoke that here!”

I looked over, confused, and said, “Huh?” She snapped back, “I can smell that, and you shouldn’t be smoking it here!”

I asked, “On a public road?” and laughed to myself. I called her a Karen, and of course, she started threatening to call the cops. 🙄

I’m honestly so beyond pissed off. Mind your own business!! it’s legal, I’m not bothering anyone, and I’m literally outside on a public street. Photo for reference so you can see the road. I took this a few minutes before the woman yelled.
