AITA for telling my husband I’d divorce him if he asked for a paternity test.

My husband and I were talking about a coworker who has the appearance of being of a different race, who insisted that both his parents were white. I said to my husband that it’s possible for genes far back in the family tree to resurface and cause a different looking child.

I told him even he and I could have a child that doesn’t look like us. He said if we had a baby like that, he’d get a paternity test. I told him that was rich coming from him since it was his family that was mixed, quite far up the family tree. I told him the day he asks me for that test is the day I ask him for a divorce, and then he started sulking. AITA?

I have never cheated on my husband and do not plan to ever do so, which is exactly why his statement offended me.
