AIO – Is he overreacting or am I underreacting?

My dad wanted to come over to pick up a check for our portion of a shared bill. He’ll be in the area for a football game anyway so tight he’d drop by. So I told him that my husband didn’t want anyone to come to the house because it’s messy. He said that’s fine, he’ll just pick it up and go since he’s watching the game anyway.

This is the text conversation after my husband was screaming at me about this. I feel like he’s overreacting because it’s not something offensive. I don’t really see what the problem is.
